Semafor XVII IT Security and Audit Forum – a convergence of minds and technology in Warsaw.
On 14-15 March 2024, the seventeenth Semafor IT Security and Audit Forum was held in Warsaw. It brought together IT security professionals. This event is a key meeting point for experts to share ideas, network and stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity developments.
Day 1 Highlights: The forum started with a talk about cloud security. As more services move to the cloud, understanding how to keep them secure is more important than ever. This session gave attendees a framework for securing their cloud-based assets.
The next topics were about modern network threats, like DDoS attacks, ransomware, and phishing. These topics are important for security now, so organisations need to monitor and respond.
The day ended with a look at IT security audits. This session was very useful, giving practical advice on how to assess and improve an organisation’s security.
